Seattle Bike Show

Anyone in the Seattle area this weekend is invited to drop by the Cruzbike booth at the Seattle Bike Show and say 'Hi!' The show runs from 10-5 on Saturday 05 MAR & from 10-4 on Sunday 06 MAR at the Century Link Field event center. I'll be at the booth all weekend long and would love to meet anyone who can make it. image.jpeg

Bring BACK the Yellow Vs as they have MORE Presence!!!!
It not just the color, as each color that is out there looks great and we each have our preference. But to me the BOOM is what gives the V2 it presence:
Polished aluminum slider - slipped into the even larger colored boom with "CRUZBIKE" yelling out from it.
The red and gray V20's would also look awesome with that boom configuration.
But progress is progress - The current boom/slider configuration is now shared between the Silvio and Vendetta, so more cost effective. The installation and tuning is also easier.
All this talk though, make me want to go and buy that old V2 back - wish I had the money! :(

The few recumbent riders I know and EVERY avid DF FEMALE rider I have spoken to about Cruzbikes, followed Maria's RAM RECORD BREAKING success, and the image of the YELLOW Vendetta being held high behind her!!!

She is a rock star in Australia, and our poor neighbors, New Zealand!

Hanging at the Seattle Bike show with a couple stunning Silvios. The gold one is a custom commerative bike that Jonathan and Robert tricked out for this year's Cycle Oregon.image.jpeg
Great to see Jonathan again and meet Alanna. Had a great day at the booth.

Always great when other Cruzzies stop by. Today fellow Vendetta rider Bill Kennedy stopped by to chat.

Sunday morning in Seattle with Jonathan and Alanna. image.jpeg
Local Vendetta owner Robert Onishi stopped by and shared his experiences with his Cruzbike. Nice to finally get to meet him. On Saturday we had a rider stop by the booth excited because he had seen Robert riding his V20 in his neighborhood. image.jpeg image.jpeg
A rather punchy Robert Holler arrived in the afternoon straight from the bike show in Tapei. Great to see him again and talk about what he saw in Taiwan. A cup of coffee and he was ready to go. image.jpeg image.jpeg
One of the fun parts of going to a show is seeing the cool stuff. Two things in particular stood out for me. The folks at TiGr had a new small profile model of their titanium lock. Jonathan mounted one under the seat of this Silvio. Looked so natural there that people thought it was part of the bike. And it weighs next to nothing. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg
Then I met a gentleman from a small Seattle bike light manufacturer while eating lunch. They created this cool light that is the same brightneas as an Audi tail light. Got an idea looking at it so I asked him to bring one to the booth. It was the perfect size and shape to fit vertically between the dual water bottle cages on the headrest mount. And it was bright!

Had a great time all weekend talking about m these bikes we love.
