I fell once on the bike, but my elbow and seat (replace) took the impact. The fall was to the left side of the bike. Otherwise the bike is in great shape.

Not sure if you bought an S40 yet. I have my 2018 S40 in San Diego. I am looking for a V20. Let me know and I can send pics. I have an email into Cruzbike about a bracket that is broken but hopefully that will be repaired soon.
