So, I got a pretty nasty rub burn on my right leg from the brakes this week and I was wondering if anyone had installed the TriRig Omega X front brake on their Silvio 2.0? If so, are there any 'gottchas" that I should be aware of before purchasing the Omega X. I have read through Ratz's V.20 build diary...that's where I got the idea to change brakes, but I hadn't seen anything about their use on a Silvio 2.0.

I have a set of TriRigs on another bike and one potential consideration is rim width. If you are running a really wide rim, they won't work. On HED Belgium Plus rims with new pads, there is sufficient clearance .....with true wheels. There shouldn't be an issue with most rims, just an fyi.
