Silvio 2.0 Handlebars

Related to my Rohloff installation on my Silvio 2.0 build, I am currently planning to use the Co-Motion Rohloff drop bar shifter (http://www.co-motion.com/index.php/product/rohloff-shifter) but don't think it will work with the standard Rohloff handlebar. According to an email I got from Co-Motion, once the handlebars are clamped to the stem, I will need 20mm of the 31.8mm portion on the right side of the handlebar to clamp the shifter to. The overall width of the shifter is 52mm but only needs 20mm to clamp to. Eyeballing my stem/handlebar, It looks like there is very minimal space on either side of the stem before the handlebar drops off in size.

So, if I have to go with a different set of bars, what would be the next best option in a wide bar? Thanks for any suggestions.

Have you tried this?

I can't copy and paste the link using my wife's Nook, but how about using a shim from www.problemsolvers.com? It sees to me this would expand your options without having to search for a handlebar that will work with CoMotion's Rohloff shifter.
