Silvio Bike Computer suggestions: any problems with wireless?

I plan on ordering a Silvio soon, and am having fun preparing for it's arrival in a few weeks.

Will a wireless bike computer work w/o problems on the Silvio? Most of the bents I have ridden have been too long for wireless signals.

I am looking for a bike computer with the basics plus cadence....that's all.

Any suggestions re: a bike computer for the Silvio?
Thanks!
Bob

Uses coded digital transmission for greater range/less interference. Has worked flawlessly on my Silvio 1.0 since I installed it.

Generally, you'll need a digital signal cyclometer to get enough range with the Silvio's sensor placement, in my experience.

Hi Bob,
I have a Silvio and use a Garmin Edge 900 with wireless cadence and wheel rotation sensor. It wotks perfectly.
I think that you are missing the fact that the Silvio is a FWD bike and the sensor if put on the front wheel carbon fork to detect the front wheel spoke and crank magnets. It is very easy to fit and is quite close to the GPS unit. I use the heart rate monitor occasionally and it communicates just fine. The Edge 900 uses ANT+ protocols and uses some form of low energy system for improved battery life. I can't speak for other systems.

You don't put the sensor on the rear wheel of a Silvio.
