super slim
Zen MBB Master
I have just done my first decent decent down 14% bitumen AND Gravel slopes on a Softrider V1 with 185 mm Avid BB7 front disk, and 160mm rear disk, and I can not believe how much better feel (150% better)and sensitivitythey are than the Tektro Auriga Comp Hydraulic 160mm disks (F+R), and just as easy to set up correctly first time.
I tried the BB5 on the Tektro rear disk and it was hard to set up(as before on my trike) and still only 80% as good as the Tektro Hyd. brakes.
I don't know how much difference the disk makes, but the BB7 disk brakes and Disks, with the Avid speed dial brake levers are great.
The speed dial allows the cable connection to vary from 28 to 35 mm from the pivot and with a single finger at 80mm from the pivot and 20 kg force, this relates to 57 kg cable pull for 28mm (front brake) and 46 kg cable pull for 35mm (rear brake)
