Sofrider

I haven't been riding my beloved sofrider so I'd like to see it go to a new home. Local pickup in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Bike is in Federal Way, WA. Asking $450.

This is a great intro bike for someone trying to get into FWD recumbents; it definitely opened a whole new world for me. Comes with headrest and rack which are not currently installed.

How do you get the seatback to lay back so far. I get recumbutt after about an hour of riding and thought getting the seatback lower would help

Someone with a laid back Sofrider please weigh in.

But these can help decrease the seat angle:
- adjust the seat pan forward
-flip the seat clamp so that the seat post is closer to the seat back
-use an ‘s’ shaped seat post to shift the post back. Often they are used on bmx

Basically what Benphyr said above. Moved the lower as far forward as it could go then adjusted the seat post and it made it how it looks now.

Now that I'm riding a ton of miles (more than 50 at a time) I upgraded to a S2.0 last year and now I don't ride the sofrider as much. This is why I'm selling it.
