This bike is SOLD.. Thank you for your interest!

This bike was obtained new from Cruzbike in mid-February 2021. This is the same model as presently described on the Cruzbike website (www.cruxbike.com/products/q45)

This bike is essentially in its original condition, with a few minor improvements that are listed below. It has been used intermittently over the past 8 months, mainly for testing of the geometry and seat options to see how it works for me, including one ~90 mile trip on limestone trail. It is in showroom condition and ready to ride.

Bicycle specifications:
- Rear derailleur: SRAM NX Long Cage 11-speed
- Front derailleur: none
- Shifters: SRAM NX 1x11 Trigger
- Crankset: Driveline 155 mm cranks, 42T narrow-wide chainring, Chain guard
- Bottom Bracket: square taper 68mm 113mm width
- Cassette: SunRace 11-42 11-spd
- Brakes: TEKTRO MD-C550 mechanical discs; 160 mm front and rear rotors
- Brake Levers: TEKTRO Linear pull break lever with selectable pull ratio
- Handlebars: new Cruzbike Mountain handle bar
- Headset: Cane Creek ViscoSet
- Wheelset: 650b Jet Set rims with Chosen hubs
- Front & rear Tires: Maxxis Overdrive 650b x 1.65 in; less than 30 miles on each
- Chain: SRAM PC-1110
- Seat:: Cruzbike Q45 adjustable seat with variable seat angle
- Rear shock absorber: DNM Air Shock AO-38 RC
- Color: Neon Orange; near-perfect condition, but for: two marks on the front seat mount that are painted over and not visible when the seat is attached; small scratches on front right chain stay that are not very noticeable in normal lighting.
- Original documentation included

- Additions and/or changes from original specs:
- SunRace 11-42T cassette
- Rear shock absorber: DNM Air Shock AO-38 RC with lockout and rebound adjustment
- Pedals: Shimano Click’r PD-T421 (easy clip-in and clip-out; one side SPD, other side platform)

Included extra OEM parts:
- SRAM PG-1130 11-42T cassette
- Rear shock: KS EXA 290 external spring shock 165 mm, rated 1200 lbs/inch
- Thru axles: quick-release 12 mm thru axles
- OEM black handlebar grips

Bonus Offer: Bacchetta B3 seat with Q45 mounts
I have a Bacchetta B3 seat with mounts appropriate for the Q45 also available for sale. It provides a mesh seat back with good ventilation, plus alternate seat cushioning compared to the relatively hard aluminum OEM seat. This seat lists for $300 without the Q45 mounts, and are presently out of stock until next January. It has only been used for tests and is essentially in new condition. Will include a shorter rear seat stay for more range of recline angle than the OEM version. It can be included in the purchase of the bike for an additional $150 shipped.

Notes:
This bike can easily be converted to a hardshell/carbon seat such as a Volae or Thorseat if you want a more reclined seat angle.

Price is $1,900 if picked up locally, $2,000 plus shipping if packaged for shipping.

Bike is located in Madison, WI. As always, it is easier to not ship, so I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet a buyer if desired.

Anything tweaked by @rfneep is too nice for the museum giving a false sense of stock due to perfectly executed improvements and immaculate care.

That's very nice of you to say, but c'mon I could scuff it up and remove any small improvements. Would look right at home! Ha!

Give it to me. I will drill holes in it, fix mudguards on with fence wire, put brake levers on upside-down, get it muddy so the scratches are invisible. Will that do?

@2whluge Great acquisition. Welcome to the Cruzbike family.

If you have any questions whatsoever do not hesitate but ask them on this forum. There is a wealth of info but it can be hard to find. If you haven’t already ridden a Cruzbike I suggest following the instructions from Cruzbike and on the Learning to ride thread on this forum.

Happy Trails!

Ben.

I picked up a Q559 this summer and liked it well enough to look for a Q45. And this one was within driving distance! Had it out today for the first extended ride. It needs some tweaking but I think it’s going to be a great ride!
