Sometimes you just need a little bigger Sling Pack

Here's a quick modification to a Revelate Designs Tangle Frame Bag. The bag is made to go under the top tube of a DF. This is the medium size. The medium size fits the S40, but is too long for the V20. Adapting the bag for the S40 was a matter of trimming off some of the existing straps and attaching one positioned to both support the bag and keep it from sliding forward. I just did that with velcro straps laying around the house, maybe not the most ideal straps.

It is both longer and wider than the Sling Pack.

looks quite a bit like the Alpkit framebags over here in the UK. I have a user specified version that I had made for the boom of my M5, not sure whether I can use it on the Cruzbike yet due to the fitment and zip positions.

Opps, this Revelate Tangle bag has a hydration port in a bad place. Didn't see that before. That might be OK as a DF frame bag, but using this as a sling bag next to the tire, that's going to take on too much water in the rain. I'm going to have to stitch that and seam seal it.

This was the upper frame bag I originally made for my DF. I shortened it and altered how it attaches to make it work for the S40

Another bag people might like are the similar Blackburn Designs Outpost frame bags. Their medium is 18 x 7” and small is 13.5 x 5.5”. Both are expandable. This compares to the medium Revelate Tangle at 19 x 4.5”, the small is 17.5 x 4”. I like the sleek look of the Revelate but appreciate the greater utility of the Blackburn.

Do you find that these under seat bags sway much?

Mine does some, but not enough to notice while riding. Though mine is not as form fitting as the ones Cruzbike sells, nor is it as tightly strapped did as theirs can be, i would imange they don't swing much
