Speed vs power

Amusing numbers:
In November (last month I commuted by bicycle, having had tonstop thanks to the fires making the air grey), Garmin Connect reported that I rode faster than 84% of riders, yet was only 31st percentile of power output.

That is pretty fascinating.
84th %ile in speed for 31st %ile in power.

What did *you* get?
Was it similarly lopsided??

I wonder if hemisphere makes a difference summer vs winter. If I switch from Cruzbike commuting setup to my winter mountain bike with studded tires for winter commuting I'm sure that makes a big difference. Granted most people's summer vs. winter isn't quite so drastic as mine.

I find it's easier to ride in the summer for me. Guess I wear more clothes in the winter too and the cold air gives me a touch of asthma.
