Regretfully, selling my T50e electric Cruzbike.
This is the only e-bike that Cruzbike made. They stopped making it a couple of years ago. The overall design is same as the current T50. Couple of key differences are the lack of a kick stand (battery blocks it) and the Aluminum seat (more durable than the plastic) on this e-bike.
I bought this from another forum member as a trainer. It cut my learning time dramatically and made it so easy to learn Cruzbikes. I have since moved on to other Cruzbikes and don’t use the T50e as frequently. See my post about my learning rides.
This bike is a dream to ride. It makes it so stress-free to stop and start gain. Just hit the throttle and go. If you go too far and are tired, just coast back on the battery. At 39 lbs, It is not much heavier than the non-electric (30 lbs). This should be your first Cruzbike, or can be the spare for group rides.
The bike is moderately used, but rides great! I had it tuned by a great mechanic.
A few things to note:
1. The previous owner rode this bike into his 80s. He said he put about 500 miles on it. I think he may have left the bike in the rain because there is a bit of rust on a couple of the screws. Including closeup pictures. There are no mechanical issues, only cosmetic.
2. In addition to the professional assembly/tune up, I bought a new cassette and a new battery from Cruzbike. The new battery is rated by Cruzbike for 20miles. I have used it on one hour ride without pedaling. It had plenty of juice beyond the hour. I will include the old one too, but the old one does not last very long.
3. I used the bike for a fantastic 150 miles.
I can have this shipped to you. But I would prefer to just drop off the bike or have it picked up. I am located in Indianapolis. I am happy to drive up to 5 hours to drop it off.
Asking $1250 plus shipping, which will be about what I paid for it in total a year ago.
