The plan for Cruzbike world domination is stalling

Good weather and a declining CV is seeing a decline in the TTT entries as well as Cruzbike participation for Thursdays event. But the numbers are still healthy and we are active in five teams. Jason is with ATP5, while the Killer Bees continue to be the Herd Recumbent heavy team with Larry, Chris, and Ben. The recent addition of Larry was suppose to create a performance bump to the Bees and we are accepting nothing less this week. Lets go Bees! Joel has moved to the Huskies where Jim has been known to trod but Jim is nowhere to be found this week. Joel, it looks like another week before you two can make the long awaited merge. The Coyotes are normally the largest recumbent laden WTRL team on the planet but not this week. Roy Longcrier has been left alone to perform all the duties by himself. Good luck Roy, we'll be cheering you on. One Flamingo and no recumbent Unicorn recumbent members in the ladies Division either, oh my! Go Flamingos! Go Connie, hang on as your sisters will be back next week. Gonna be some good racing again this Thursday. Go get'em Cruzbike.

I have had a software release planned for tonight (11PM-3AM) local time. Usually that means no sleep until 5AM, so racing the next night is out for me. Well, we just pushed our release, so I am hoping to give Roy some ‘bent help this week. It does mean I will miss next week now.

I responded to the poll on Tuesday, but didn't get assigned to a team. I guess I was a little late. Oh well, next week.

If you make the poll, you should make the roster. If not this is a goof by the Director. The Bees are full with 8 riders on the roster but you could still ride with Joel on the Huskies. They have 7 C's while the rules allow for up to 3 B's on Latte. You would round them out into a complete team and be a great tug boat for them. Joel is the Captain, link up with him, add the Husky tag to your name and sign into their pen. They would love to have you.

Remember just because I team is entered, the line up on the team can changed or added to right up to the minute the event starts. So if there is a team in a coffee class that can accommodate you without changing their coffee status, it's no sweat for you to jump in last minute. Just hit up the individual team captain you think you can fit in with and I'm sure they'll add you. I may be able to find you a spot on an ATP team as well, You're a B is I recall correct?

Hey, hey, No poaching our riders! Poaching riders is a bad, bad thing :( Unless of course you would like to come and lead a Cruzbike team :) You, Larry, Ben , Cliff, and Chris would make a great Frappe team.

We landed in Texas now and after 2 weeks of setup and surprises like oh look kitchen Mold Abation required because the last tenant was an idiot have slowed us down. Bikes are setup and FTP's are down and training begins again this weekend. I'll sign up to die next week once I find out what my FTP is on this setup which is a completely different frame and component setup.

My excuse is related to nice weather. While clearing some brush on our farm I got a big dose of poison ivy. My right leg swelled up like an elephant, so no riding for a few days.
