The race cage for the V20, light mount

Recently bought one and whilst it looks to be a nice bit of kit I'm scratching my head regarding mounting a rear light. I note that there are two bosses at the back of the bag, these are of a length where I could mount the utlity post to and then from here fix a rear light onto the post via the usual wrap around o ring.

Any one else have experience of this or any other ideas?

Thanks, utility post is the way to go it would appear. Also an eye opener regarding the failure in the seat post tubing and why now the cage ships with a metal backing plate.
