After some research, I installed a Swagman XC Cross-Country 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Receiver) on my Subaru Outback Wagon:
I love it!! It is rock solid and very adjustable. I have had my Sofrider and a regular DF mountain bike on the rack with no problems. For security, I use a hitch receiver lock plus a combo lock on the frame clamp. Works like a charm.
