Trek 1000 conversion?

I searched for "Trek 1000" on
I searched for "Trek 1000" on Google but all that I could find were "bog standard" diamond frame racing bikes. If your 2003 Trek 1000 is one of those then IMHO a conversion wouldn't be feasible.
