Trek Y3

Hi, everyone!

Does anyone know of any reason a Trek Y3 wouldn't work as a donor bike? I've found one for a decent price. Just wondering if it's all good before I plunk down the money.

I'd appreciate any input.
Thanks!!

It should be ok.I cant find any pictures but its an older model before the Y26.I would go for it if the frame size is right -med or small and its not to beat up. Jack

Hi Jack,
I found this picture purportedly of a TREK Y3. To my untrained "kit eye" it looks okay, but I'm sure you and others will be able to tell more than I can.

Is the "top bar" a little high?
Hope this helps.
