Upgrade Q45 to 2x

Hi everyone,

I have a 2019 Q45 with the stock Driveline 155 mm crank and SRAM NX 1×11 (38T × 11–42). It’s been great for light flat touring, but I find myself wanting tighter gearing in the 9–16 mph range to be able to stay with DFB riders and a little more top end for shallow downhills.

Since my frame has the braze-on FD mount, I’m thinking of upgrading to a 2× setup (maybe 46/30 with an 11–32 cassette). Has anyone here done this conversion on their Q45? Did you keep the Driveline crank and add rings, or swap to a different crankset? Any advice on derailleur and shifter compatibility would be really appreciated.
