Used Vendetta Purchase

Hi,

I've got the opportunity to purchase a used Vendetta, original model, so no disc brake options.

So, naturally I have a few questions. Firstly, I've been riding recumbents about a year, an ICE B2, so I'm used to two wheels, but not these MBB styles.

Anything in particular to look out for on these?
What was the original spec?
Any ideas on used values - I'm in the UK?

I have an early edition Vendetta. It is my "go to" ride compared to my Ti Aero except when we will be doing extended climbs over 5 or 6% grade.
The MBB learning curve is steep.But you can do it. I'm 64 and with enough practice you will be comfortable I have one issue with it as the weld that attaches the lower seat pan to the frame has cracked.
Not sure if welding will effect the heat treat of the frame.
Perhaps someone on here can answer that.?
I totally love this bike. It is extremely fast.
I bought it used maybe 3 years ago for 2300.00 Not sure what it is worth now.
I was going to take it on a long cross country a year ago so I put different wheels and a triple up front but used the Ti Aero instead because of the climbing.
