With extra free time on my hands, decided to try and put my trainer on a swivel to add some MBB action to an indoor ride. I recall that someone else on the board had posted about this a while ago, and was reminded when my wife was throwing away a cheap table top.
I ordered a 12 inch/1000 lb lazy susan swivel for $10 on Amazon, screwed to the bottom of the table top and then just set the trainer on top. See pics below. Actually works fairly well, except that I need a wider swivel, probably at least 24 inches wide, to help stabilize the table top and so that I can extend the legs further on the trainer (almost tipped over once). A wider table top would be nicer, as would a higher quality swivel as the cheap one I bought could stand to be a little smoother. But otherwise, definitely better than the typical "rigid" feel of a bike on a trainer. Pics below.
