Vendetta Pictorial History - Request pics and info from the tribe

Vendetta Pictorial History

Cruzbike has asked me to put together a pictorial history of all the Cruzbike models.
To me this includes not just a picture of each model, but the differences between the versions and what was changed from one to the next
Therefore I am reaching out to you: the tribe for some help!
....
So to get started I would like to see pictures all of your Vendetta's, V1, V2, V20, etc - please list the "version" with your bike too so it will help me catolog them all
If you are in the picture, better yet- but you don't have to be.
Also, if you have shots of any special areas of the bike that represent one or more of the "updates" or "mods" of that model/version, even better!
It doesn't even matter if you still own it or not either - the eventual goal here is to get some good pics of each and every version of the Vendetta lineage (and changes) since its inception
.
Note this thread is only for Vendetta's - if you have any other Cruzbike models, please post them under those appropriate threads - there should be one for each model

Thanks in advance,

I dug through the old ad as to it's history:
the PO thinks it's a 2015. He bought it from Kevin Gamble in 2016 who set a record at Sebring with it.

;)

Here's a few pictures of my 2012 Vendetta V1.0 that I bought from Marcel Flaux in Grenoble, France in 2018. This bike has rolled more than 43.000 km, most of that before I got it. At one point it had a crack in the frame that got repaired, and then the bike got repainted.

The easiest way to tell it's a V1.0 is the welded-on, aluminium seat.

And here's the Vendetta V1.5 that I rented from Peder Torgersen during the summer of 2015. This is the one I learned to ride a Cruzbike on. Notice how cool the horizontal boom looks due to the large size chainstays. Never mind the odd headrest. I had to improvise something because whatever was on didn't fit me.

You can tell it's a V1.5 because it doesn't have the curved, hydroformed tubing like the V2.0, nor does it have the welded-on, yellow seat like the V1.0.

Jon, You said Vendetta 2.2
What do you see as the difference between
V2.0 , V2.1, and V2.2
Thanks - Larry

hi Larry. reckon the v forum thirty plus pages may answer that one.

V2.o was introduction of hydro formed main frame
Change to the geometry slacker headset angle less twitchy than v1 or 1.5
Front rear iso brake tab mounts for disc brakes
Headrest fitted internally inside main frame now
Fibreglass seat

V2.1 End main frame was now welded shut except for two aperture allowing headrest insertion.
Introduction of carbon fibre seat

previously a plastic plug was used to seal end of main frame

V2.2 second last V2 sold came with John Tolhurst,s personally signed signature. All you had to do was travel to Perth :)

And then there was the prototype before version 1.0, as pictured here:
Note the very short wheelbase, 1045mm IIRC, the splitter plate between frame and rear wheel, the rear brake position, the three-part boom with welded clamps, and the long, tilting lower part of the seat.
I had this bike for 22.000k before selling it.
(Edited to show my own bike)
