Vendetta Polished Fork and Front End Parts Question

I am working on putting the shine back onto a 1994 Cannondale R1000 which has a bare aluminum polished finish and it got me to thinking about the Vendetta's polished bits. Are they clear coated, anodized or just polished?

If it's a polished finish, I can't say enough good things about the Mother's Power Cone used with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish. It works wonders in bringing out the shine and there is even a finish restoring compound that will remove scratches. I just thought y'all would like to know.

Yes, the fork is clear

Yes, the fork is clear coated, while the slider is anodized and might take nicely to a polish.

Thanks for the information.

How does the manufacturer get the clear coat to adhere to a polished surface? Any ideas?

About the anodized parts, they might not require or take well to polishing if I understand aluminum right. I have seen the Vendetta in pictures only and I am always drawn to the fork.
