What has changed from version 1 to version 2 on the Vendetta?

Would be great to see updated hi-res pics on the bike pages (for all models)...

I am by no means an expert

I am by no means an expert but I think the following are the main changes:

  • the front triangle is now available in three sizes: Large, medium and small

  • The seat-pan and backrest is bolted to the frame for reduced packaging size

  • Some refinements to the geometry e.t.c. for example to handle drop bars better

Someone posted some detailed

Someone posted some detailed build photos on the forum link below:

Hope this helps.

Is the black seat assembly

Is the black seat assembly the indicator of the most current version? A yellow seat a version 1? That seems to be what Jim Parker was indicating in the one video discussing the line-up of Vendettas

Thanks ak-tux, I did see fthills post but was trying to learn how to positively identify what version a particular Vendetta is as well as understand the changes to be able to make an informed decision about buying a used Vendetta compared to buying a brand new one.

Version 2 has a black seat/backrest

"Is the black seat assembly the indicator of the most current version?"

Yes, Eric. That is correct. Maria and I are both currently riding version 1 Vendettas. Maria was riding a version 2 for awhile, but someone wanted to buy it, so that bike was sold. Maria recently finished a 750 mile brevet on her version 1 Vendetta, and it's working quite well.
