Very interesting differences between Vendetta 1.5 and V20

I recently picked up a couple of frames for my Cruzeum.
A Vendetta 1.5 and a Citron V20 (Gen 5 or 6)

Notice how narrow the back end of the Vendetta 1.5 frame is from the V20 - The 1.5 headrest had to be attached to the back of the seat, which was bolted to the frame.

Also notice the difference in the fork angle and the frame length.

Interesting differences, I like seeing the changes and would like. There has been some real thought gone into the evolution of the V20. The v20 frame looks stiffer (larger section) with a longer wheelbase? The steeper head angle should make it a bit quicker handling. Have you ridden both? Was there a noticeable difference in feel?

I spent many years on a V1 Vendetta. It is very short with a very steep head tube angle (too steep) and is feels like living on the precipice over 20MPH.

The frame was not as stiff as the hydro formed version as well. The V1 had the seat fully welded to the frame so is internal to the strength, but also meant a very firm ride. This was back when 23c was the norm and if you rode 25c people thought you were riding giant balloon tires.

Still it was always one of my favorite recumbents - and I have ridden just about all of them - of all time. Back then no other that I know of had dual 700c and were actually ridable. High racers of that vintage were all the now defunct 650c. Much better than many other bikes at the time and even to this day it is better than most other brands of "new" recumbents, so it is a legend in my book.

Mine now lives for all time as a frame on the wall as the head tube and a few other areas of the frame started to develop some small cracks after all the hard miles and years - otherwise I would still ride it.

She is a beauty Robert - love the paint job! I would like to build this one frame out, but lack the boom & slider. If you guys have any extra (old Yella Vendetta) parts back in storage for these older models I would be happy to pay shipping if you are willing to part with them. Email me if you do and we can work it out.
Happy New Year!
