The lunch time race group doesn't like that I'm too fast on the flats on the vendetta and since I wasn't getting a good workout I've been humoring them by only riding the DF on the group rides. Well now I'm too fast climbing on the DF and they give me crap for doubling back on the climbs to let them catch up instead of just riding off the front to take the KOMs. I figured the happy medium would be for me to dust off my trusty old 10lb weight vest and give myself a climbing handicap. Now I've got to work to beat up the group but now I'm faster going downhill so I drop them there now:rolleyes: The DH thing isn't an issue since time wise they are still right behind me but it is humorous. I guess I could wear the vest in secret but where's the fun in that plus I need to be able to see which rides I had the vest one so my data doesn't get confusing so I add the vest to my ride titles ;)

Am I just stroking my ego? Well sure and I'm ok with that :p

Stroke that ego but meanwhile what are you doing to ensure you have done everything you can for Borrego Springs? Have you maxed the CDA? I'm soooo hoping the Europeans don't come back yet another year and open another can of whoop ass. You're the only hope I've seen so far.

That was probably my last ride on the Ridley till the race. I don't plan to mess around with anything related to CDA. I'm going to try and do one more flat land test this weekend and see how the knee responds. So little time to do anything right now.
