Wedge to raise the front of the seat.

I have a conversion kit and have about 100 miles on it so far. I would like to raise the front of the seat because the bar that it is mounted to an angle lowering the seat front. I have tried several type of rubber wedges including a door stop. I would like to know if anyone had found something that works well. My items seem to shift or compress.

Seat to seat-mount adjustment

Have you removed the seat pan and relocated it as far forward as it will go on the seatbase? Have you tried adding more holes to push it even further forward ... this lifts the front of the seat pan. Then you may need to slide the seat mount back to compensate.

... I could do with more tilt

... I could do with more tilt on my seat too - I was thinking about turning the bracket 180 degrees and cutting off the wide wings to allow it mount well forward, just not sure if this would be safe!!

on a horizontal cross bar,

on a horizontal cross bar, the seat mount is assembled high end to the front (in case that wasn't clear in this thread)

wedge

I had that problem and made a wedge out of wood and bolted it to the seat bracket. Jack
