Which tire diameter, 1.00, 1.25 or 1.50?

I came to the conclusion I ride much more on asphalt than unpaved roads.
I have a pair of Kenda Small Block Eight 26X1.95 on the bike and will use them when I expect to ride on unpaved roads.
But for everyday (and maybe a future 200 Km brevet) use I'll go for a Maxxis Detonator 100 psi.
Which would be the best size, 26 X 1.00, 1.25 or 1.50?
I am thinking on the 1.25, but would the 1.00 be a better option for speed?
I'd like to hear some thoughts on pros and cons of 1.25 against 1.00. That would help me a lot!

I have Schwalbe 26 x 1.35

I have Schwalbe 26 x 1.35 Kojaks on my CB and they are great, thin enough for speed but enough contact patch to stop front wheel spin on climbs. I like the Maxxis Detonator. I did not know they came in 26in I can only get them in 700c 28s

If my CB had more weight over

If my CB had more weight over the front wheel I would have gone for a 26x1.0 because I was after speed rafter then comfort. I could only get the 26 x1.35 in slicks (without importing them) and I am happy that I did. Front wheel spin can be a problem when climing and my weight bias is more to the back wheel then the recommended 60% front bias. I slip sometimes on climbs but only if there is dirt on the road or it is wet.
