I uploaded 2 more photos of the headrest FYR.Two things - can you provide instructions for how to build head rest for the Q45? And, are you using the Q-rack in the back? If so, has it interfered with the rear tire at all? Can you post detailed photos showing how your rack is installed?
FYI, I am using an air-shock instead of the original spring shock. I prefer the softer feel of the air suspension.About the Q Touring and Commuting Rack, I found that rear wheel will sometimes rub against the under side of the rack when the suspension is at its very compressed position. So I mounted it at the higher position of the seat clamp quick release instead of the suspension quick release. I used a longer screw to accommodate the seat clamp with the added rack. Hope this is clear.
It is just a spare screw that I put in the hole which is already there. I don't know the use of the hole. I just put a screw there. It has no function except closing the hole. What is the braze on or screw about half-way up the black seat post? Is that for rack mounting? or is there another purpose that you know of?
Where did you get the air shock. Do you know of a place that they are available in North America?

I have updated the headrest to this new design to better fit my head and neck. I put on an extra cushion to complete it.Since headrest is not available for Q45, I've made one with a piece of aluminium and some packing foam.

@Giloun … what psi do you use for the top and bottom chamber of your air shock? I just installed one myself (upside down orientation the way it looks like you installed yours).
Thanks for your help!
Gary
MP will always be MP regardless of orientation. Installing upside down is to make the valves more accessible. Thanks … key question for me now is if this shock is installed upside down such that the MP valve is on the bottom, are you supposed to invert the MP and NP pressures too? Or is MP always where it is labelled regardless of whether it is on top or on the bottom?
