In that thread, you'll read another member here did this, but ground part of the motor away to do it. My solution doesn't involve any damage to the motor or the bicycle and it's completely working - read on through.

Q45 2021 model with extras. Rear and underseat racks, AR551 air shock. Stock rims replaced with 26" to mount 2.0" tires. Grin Technologies 1000W All-Axle motor in rear (great hill climber) with Baserunner controller and Cycle Analyst v3 control panel, 24-pole cadence sensor, switched brake levers to engage regen braking proportional to the throttle (the bike will stop from that alone without any brake pad wear) Ventisit and stock foam seat cushions, bell and mirror, full mudguards (fenders).

All-wheel drive if you pedal. 11 speed.

Batteries ship by ground within Australia and the cradle matches the battery, so they are not included, but I will sell them if you can ship them - 48V 960Wh charged to 85% to maximise life span. The aluminum mounting cradle will handle most batteries you can buy for a bicycle if you don't want this one. The Baserunner will use any battery from 24V - 52V by changing its settings.

I have the original 650b wheels if you want. I also have a 26" x 26" x 10" suitcase that should fit the bike when disassembled, but probably with only one set of wheels. That size suitcase will go on an airplane, but I don't know about the weight restriction. The motor adds 4kg, and the electronics and mounts a bit more, perhaps another kg.

The bike is a 100 mile tryout return, and arrived with some paint damage and 'gnawed' seat mount bosses on the frame, but it all works. I'm in Perth, Australia.

I can provide pictures beyond what is in the build thread above if you are serious. With my joints, I can't ride it anymore - I am working out a Greenspeed trike now.

AU$4000 + shipping for 26" wheels and electrics without battery and with suitcase (if it fits). I'm open to removing all the electrics and selling with the original 650b wheels too - I can keep the electrics as spares.

Cheers,
Bret

Hello @Paruig and all.

AU$2500 + shipping for the Q45 without the electrics but all the Cruzbike specific parts and add-ons, the air shock and original, the two racks, the original 650b wheels and the mirror. Ventisit and original cushions.

I don't know if the 650b wheels will fit into the suitcase - I'll need some time to try that and take off the electrics and put the original brake levers back on. I assume the bike will fold into the suitcase, but I haven't tried it before. My trike can't fit into that suitcase, so it's included if I can get the bike into it sensibly.

The underseat rack and kickstand won't both mount at the same time, but you'll get both.

Do you have a choice about how to ship? I know the suitcase is airplane size, but don't know about the best way to send it.

Can you tell me dimensions and weight for shipping?
I will need a few days to answer this correctly. The weight will depend on removing the electrics to weigh it properly, plus the packaging weight.
The packaging will depend on my finding out if it all fits into the suitcase. I can tell you now the suitcase is 26" x 26" x 10", and that you can start with the published weight of the Cruzbike and racks.
I would certainly hope to be able to answer these questions by the end of the weekend.

Hi. It's promised to another member. If that sale doesn't go through, I will let you know.

The electrics are not part of the sale, so I could sell you the bits to make a 12mm Thru-axle Q45 electric - that means the motor in the 26" rear wheel (and the corresponding 26" front wheel), the custom adapters I made to work with a Q45, and the motor controller, PAS, switched brake levers, & the Cycle Analyst and some miscellaneous bits. I don't think the battery can be shipped across.
