Squeak

I have a squeak that I think is coming from the BB. If I remove the pedals and then unscrew the threaded cups, is it possible to clean and repack the bearings in the BB? I don't want to tear it all apart and discover that I can't do this.

My Q45 is a 2023 model.

With the newer sealed bottom brackets it is advisable to just change out the BB instead of trying to repack it. In any case the squeak is unlikely to be coming from the bearings but more likely from the crank arm BB interface, the pedals or the cups holding the BB in place.

“the crank arm interface”?
Well if the crank arms are tight then it can't be coming from there and you're not supposed to apply grease to the tapers on the BB. Grease the cups on either side of the BB. Remember the right side is reverse threaded.

If Tuloose's solution doesn't fix the squeak another thing to check are the chain ring bolts. It's pretty rare but those sometimes squeak too.
I am not sure what kind of BB cups you have, but I swap mine out every 2 years. At $30 (here) for a set of Dura Ace cups it is just a no brainer for me.

Today I plan to replace the pedals with a spare pair to see if that matters. If it doesn’t then I’m back to trying to pull those BB cups.
