New product evaluation

I recently installed a set of Outriders. (Tire pressure monitors for tubeless systems. Kickstarter purchase, but available now for $5 extra).
I know others here would like to use them.
I found them easy to install and not terribly difficult to get the Outrider app on my phone and also my Garmin (newer models only, sorry) installed and connected.
The Garmin shows the tire pressure as soon as I turn it on and displayed constantly on my ride, except the rear disconnected for about ten minutes.
Interesting note: I started off with pressures at near 60 psi with basement temperature air, but after riding on some mid-afternoon sun exposed asphalt the tire pressure increased by nearly 5 psi, dropping a little on a fast decent. Apparently Boyle's Law is real.
I predict I'll be checking my pressures before any fast decent/curvy roads.
A caveat is that the alarm / warning feature (you can set a threshold for the alert) can be set on the phone app, but I don't see that ability on the Garmin. The support page discusses using the phone app as an intermediary between the Outriders and the Garmin, possibly preserving the alarm feature. The Outriders can only connect to only one devise at a time.

I am glad to see your review! I bought a pair and realized I need to get different tubeless valves to be able to put the sensor above the little cone shaped piece on the valve. I haven't gotten new valves to install the sensors yet. Glad to see they work well.

They are still sitting on my desk. What tubeless valves did you use to put the sensor on? The ones I had before don't work because the little cone shaped wedges in the valve stems are not removable.

Muc-off, probably older version than their current model
