Robert, the reason I suggested that you post a pic is to prove you have the bike, not to check the condition of the bike. There are thousands of pics of Cruzbikes online, and scammers use those pics to try and bait sellers. If you posted a pic of yours then it could be fact checked against all of those pics, even if someone tries to photoshop it and prove that you actually have the bike. Myself and quite a few other members here are pretty handy about weeding out scams, and we are vigilant about protecting all of the members from scams. Now, your long post above I'd say shows that you are a legit seller, especially if you'll only do a face to face sell. However, in your first post you offered your bike for sale and you have less than 10 or so posts so it is not unreasonable that you are going to get vetted. So, look at it from other member's perspective
1. Less than 10 posts
2. Won't provide pics
3. Didn't mention "only face to face sale."
4. Wrote "half price" for a new Cruzbike which sounds like "too good to be true."
Those are all the marks of a scam even though you seem to unknowingly did them. I understand your anger, but again, look at it from our perspective that you followed a typical scammers posting habits. That's why the sirens went off. And yeah, I and other members will stick our noses in things to protect our friends and this community whether you have a Cruzbike or not, or when you are selling or buying one.
