Hi, I'm in the Denver area. Looking to get into my first Cruzbike. Interested in any potential used model if the price is right. I'm also willing to drive an hour or so depending on the situation. Let me know if you have one you are looking to part with in the area, thanks!!

Hello, I am in Boulder and I have a vendetta which is one year old. It is orange and has about 100 miles on it. I have upgraded the seat to the carbon fiber seat which is about $6000 in total that I put in. I am unable to ride it for medical reasons, it is in perfect shape. I am willing to let it go for around half price if you are interested, please get in touch with me at. Q72@me.com -Richard

I’m sorry, but I bought this directly from the manufacturer and I can prove it if you are alleging something. I will be happy to see you in court. This is a valid listing and I am asking the moderators to take out that comment which I find to be borderline libelous. I can prove this bike was legitimately purchased and being sold. Someone needs to check out this new member who is casting legally dubious claims easily miss proven.. I would like to sell this bike and again I can prove it ownership unlike this random person, making comments who apparently is trying to pull some sort of scam himself. This is a fucking great deal for a bike. I can’t ride and people like this just piss me off. Again, I’m asking the moderators to delete that comment above if you want proof of my purchase, I can provide it anytime..

Again, this is a formal request to the moderators to kick that person off this site and delete that comment. What kind of site allows libelous comments like that? I can prove my ownership and I signed my name unlike that person. Richard.

What you should do is post a few pics of your Cruzbike, and even of the receipts just in case. We get plenty of scammers here with "New Member" status trying to sell a Cruzbike and trying get people to send them money. They can always be weeded out when they refuse to show pics, or the pics they do list can be "Reverse Google Searched" to show where they got the pics from for their scam. So if your bike sale is legit then posting the pics will solve that.

I am selling it in person to someone who can examine those things. I am not going to post pictures or receipts because people can simply copy them and yes, I have reported it. This person appears to be some sort of scammer who has worked on getting another bike from someone else, I can’t say for sure. Posting pictures will do nothing for security. I can do that but they all look the same and again I’m selling it in person.

We really don't have much in the way of moderation. I report the glaringly obvious spam posts, some in foreign languages, and they don't get removed.

What we do have, is occasional scammers who join the forums only to make one for-sale post. Heck, some of them post road bikes for sale here, LOL.

I looked at your profile. I can see you're legit. But you really do need to post a picture of your bike. Take one showing it with the new seat installed or something.

And please watch your language. We try to keep the forums family-friendly.

All right so to recap: the original poster asked for someone selling a Cruz bike near Denver. I live nearby and have a one and a half or two year-old Cruz bike, which is in absolutely perfect like new shape not one scratch on it and it looks exactly like it came from the factory. I purchased an additional seat, the carbon fiber seat. The total cost for all of this was $6000. I have ridden the bike for about 60 miles. I am 72 years old and a balance problem is preventing me from riding the bike. The bike is simply sitting in my garage, Unused. I know the value of it so I don’t expect to get much money for it and frankly, I’m not highly motivated to sell it because I don’t like dealing with the kind of issues that came up in this forum. I am an honest person looking to sell this in person to someone who will get to know me and the bike and be able to see all of the photos and receipts.. I am not going to post a photo here because all orange vendetta’s look exactly the same so I don’t need to. A person interested in a bike will ask for details and I will send them to them. I will not plaster photos randomly on a website along with receipts, which anyone can copy and use as some part of a scam. The posters who delight in sticking their nose into other people’s business tell me I should post photos apparently don’t understand that scammers are going to post photos always and furthermore, it is easily possible to alter a photo so that Google cannot search for it. If you rely on Google searches of images, then you are asking someone to scam you. The receipts I have are the only proof along with the serial number. So my thing is this I will sell this to the original poster or anyone else and anyone who is interested can ask for any information they want. I will not ship the bike. I am not highly motivated to sell, although I will lower the price because I know it’s an expensive bike. I am willing to reduce the price even further for someone who is in need.

I am assuming after all the kerfuffle here that no one in their right mind would buy the bike from me, which appears to be what was behind all the comments. frankly, I don’t mind letting the bike just sit in the garage and rot if that’s what it takes to avoid the kind of people on this forum. If you want to buy the bike, let me know. Otherwise leave me alone. Thank you.

Robert, the reason I suggested that you post a pic is to prove you have the bike, not to check the condition of the bike. There are thousands of pics of Cruzbikes online, and scammers use those pics to try and bait sellers. If you posted a pic of yours then it could be fact checked against all of those pics, even if someone tries to photoshop it and prove that you actually have the bike. Myself and quite a few other members here are pretty handy about weeding out scams, and we are vigilant about protecting all of the members from scams. Now, your long post above I'd say shows that you are a legit seller, especially if you'll only do a face to face sell. However, in your first post you offered your bike for sale and you have less than 10 or so posts so it is not unreasonable that you are going to get vetted. So, look at it from other member's perspective
1. Less than 10 posts
2. Won't provide pics
3. Didn't mention "only face to face sale."
4. Wrote "half price" for a new Cruzbike which sounds like "too good to be true."

Those are all the marks of a scam even though you seem to unknowingly did them. I understand your anger, but again, look at it from our perspective that you followed a typical scammers posting habits. That's why the sirens went off. And yeah, I and other members will stick our noses in things to protect our friends and this community whether you have a Cruzbike or not, or when you are selling or buying one.

You apparently have not bothered to read the very first post in this forum, where you are specifically told not to make comments like those people and you have done. You are simple trolls With no self awareness and no apparent ability to read. Change your name to Karen and go away. I am amazed by your misplaced self confidence. Try reading the rules instead of interrupting other people who specifically don’t want to hear from you.

And half price is the market value of a bike like this. Try looking it up. And nobody asked for pics before commenting. And I will only sell in person? Try reading before posting next time. Nothing I said is odd. I ONLY posted because someone wanted a bike like this in Denver and I thought I could help. But you trolls have made honest trades impossible.

Looking to get into my first Cruzbike.

Welcome to Cruzbike! I hope you find one in your area.

I have all 4 models myself. It was not my first but the T50e is what I learned to ride on.

It is so easy to learn to ride on the more upright ones: T50, Q45.

I am hoping to pass my T50e on to a local here in Indiana. If that sale fails, I will put it up for sale in the March time frame here.

My LBS is handling the sale and he will be happy to ship.

I have a 2021 S40 for sale. Parker, CO. Stock setup. Has approximately 2,600 miles. Sling bag included. Selling because I bought a V20c about 18 months ago and haven’t really ridden the S40 since. Asking $2,000. Located in Parker, Colorado. Prefer local pickup if possible.
