    What’s Your Angle!? Why?

Thank you for the photo. This is very helpful. I had installed my seat with only one mounting bracket attached to the pegs that are closer to the rear wheel. The result is a comfortable, reclined angle. The trouble with this, is there is not enough weight on the front wheel causing it to slip...

Disadvantage of flat seats with the Q Series?

I saw that. I wasn't sure if the Thor seat design had changed to accommodate the Q45 brackets. It looks like I'll have to track down a qx100 bracket.

Disadvantage of flat seats with the Q Series?

Could you post some pictures of your Thor seat attached to your bike please? I ordered an easy seat from Thor. I'm also over 200lbs. Thanks in advance!

Going to be selling one of my v20s, open to how - SOLD

I'm sorry about that. In photographs of other earlier V20s, I've seen what looks like disc brake tabs on the frame. Could you post photos of the left (non drive side) of your yellow V20?

How do you handle payment for purchasing a bike from a new forum member?

escrow.com. I used this in the past when selling my T-50 to a buyer here. The transaction was very straightforward. The buyer setup the transaction. We were able to select who was responsible for which fees. Then, once I shipped the bike, I uploaded the tracking information to escrow.com. Once...

Going to be selling one of my v20s, open to how - SOLD

Your frame accepts a thru axle wheel and it has post mount disc brake tabs on the front and probably flat mount holes in the rear. You can just upgrade either of the bikes yourself, for very little cost.

    Recabling a Q559

Could you tell me more about the handlebars? Are these the ones sold on the Cruzbike website?

    Quest 3.0 rebuild

I purchased a Quest 3.0 from a seller who wasn't very savvy about bike mechanics. The paint has rubbed off in spots, he had stickers on the frame, and it's missing the seat cushion. I'm planning to strip the frame bare, and then repaint it. The emeljay mod would be cool, but I don't have access...

    Q559 is sold

For sale is my Q559. I am the 3rd owner. I've previously owned a V2/K and T50. This is my third Cruzbike. I bought it earlier this year, made some improvements and now I'm selling it to buy a fat bike. I live near Washington DC. The bike is stock, with these adjustments: I have replaced the...

Has anyone put an internal gear hub on a Cruzbike (Q45)?

I have a QX100, not pictured in my profile. I use the Sturmey Archer CS-RK3. This is a "dual drive" hub. SRAM made the DD3 until 2014, when it was discontinued. The CS-RK3 is still in production. It allows for an 8 - 11 speed cassette with a 3 gear IGH. So, mated with my 44T single chainring, I...

    T50 seat advice needed

I recently bought the larger seat pad from Ventisit with the 3cm thickness as recommended on this thread. Holy wow! It's like a I have a totally different bike. I used to dread riding my T-50. Now it's a rocket!

    T50 with a Thor seat

My profile picture is for my earlier bike built from a V2/K frame. I had my positioning dialed just right for century rides. The T50 is my least favorite bicycle because of the seat position. My butt just goes numb after 8 miles in the stock position. I have cut the supports down in length, and...
