It's nothing like the RAAM. They just announced the route, its shorter than average - 406 miles over 7 days, for an average of 58 miles/day. Even at 10 mph, that's a bit under 6 hours ride time per day.
This route looks FANTASTIC and will be an EPIC ride. I expect this to be a sellout for sure - this is the type of route that brings out EVERYONE who has always wanted to do this type of event. VERY stoked for this one.

Larry it sounds interesting but you would have to allow me to tie rope to you to keep up. It won’t be crazy but intertaining

Just registered for RAGBRAI and for Brancel last night. Now only 141 days to get in shape! Any information about how large the Cruzbike group is for this ride? I am going to show up on my old Sofrider, and I am hoping that some kind souls will let me try out the other Cruzbikes. Thinking seriously about an S40.
By the way, in case anyone else is planning to go, the RAGBRAI price goes up tomorrow. I was a little annoyed at the mandatory nickel-and-dime extra fees: $5 postage to mail your registration, and a $16.50 "processing fee."

I believe at least 10 people, I am sure there will be an S40 to try.
