    Maria's next record attempt

I have test times to check the formulas. My only data entry will be time [the time she passes the lap start/finish line. I hope to get the scorer's official time. The remainder is mathematical. The sheet is a bit wider. I trust the Parker's will forgive me for the times I use. I'll take the...

    Maria's next record attempt

Thanks John, Then that means she can break her own record with the Vendetta. I've been asked to include average speed in the spread sheet. I'm working in it in mph & kmph. Revised sheet will be up later today. I vote for aero shoes, but do not have the time at the moment to tell you why. I...

    Maria's next record attempt

Hi Jim, Loose dogs are always a concern. Some will be less interested as you continue to pass, others me better perfect their attack as you continue to present yourself. Fortunately, the roads are not heavily traveled and Maria will indeed be safe for her many laps. I will see you on...

    Maria's next record attempt

Hi John, So does your possible trip to Raleigh put you here for the 10th so you can cheer Maria on from anear [it's even a word]. I'm just getting back from riding her route. I'll post to my blog in a few hours. Although Cain's Grill does not have Internet service, I'm hoping to give real-time...

    Maria's next record attempt

Thanks Blief! I'll attempt to be the eyes of many. I hope to ride the route this weekend or early net week. That, to have a feel for what she is seeing. You need to make that trip to visit relatives. Last year I drove to Seattle to do STP in one day. --jim

    Maria's next record attempt

I live about 30 miles from White Oak, NC [actually my place of birth], the place where she begins her 20-mile loop. I plan to be there. I have posted a blog article on the event, as well as 2 earlier post [links in today's article] on Maria. I'll publish several more as events unfold. John...

Thanks John, This is the picture I've been waiting for. I look forward to owning one when they are available. To increase awareness of this bike, I have published a couple blog articles on the Vendetta. The most recent today, with the picture of the first Vendetta Prototype. Your development of...

Thanks John and thanks for visiting my blog. I REALLY like the simplicity [in looks] of my Crank Forward. The ENO components work very well for me. I'm very satisfied with the setup. There is nothing I'd change about the build. It is the basis of my inquiry here on the Silvio and the possibility...

Thanks John, That is very useful information. I have a Bontrager compact 2-chain ring setup on my donor bike. I will explore the single-speed setup more. I love its simplicity. BTW, I'm using an ENO Eccentric Hub setup on my crank forward. Thanks again John for your assistance. --jim

Hi John, Thanks for your reply. I'm running a 42-tooth chain ring [175mm cranks] and 19-tooth sprocket. I consider myself a strong rider. Another consideration is a Nexus or Alfine Hub, with a single chain ring. Cadence: around 80 rpm. I appreciate your thoughts. --jim
