    Brief Update

I say bring it to market now and continue to work with it and offer it as an option down the road. Lack of suspension seems to be the norm for a lot of bikes purportedly built for speed. Although I have to admit that I sold my Bacchetta because I wasn't comfortable with the ride on chipseal.

    Kickstand Solution

The click-stand has been great so far and I couldn't be happier. For what it's worth, I also ordered the side-bracket storage mount and mounted it out of sight under the seat pan. It's worked out well, though it is a bit of a hassle to lean underneath while balancing the bike (the brake-bands...

Water in the Main Tube after Rainy Ride

Thanks for the heads up! Just curious, what type of modifications are you doing to the seat area?

    Kickstand Solution

I grew tired of leaning the Silvio against walls, ladders, hedges, my car, etc. and still having it fall or scratch something  , so I decided to try the 'click-stand' - a folding, aluminum shock-corded pole with a u-shaped bracket on one end. It also comes with brake bands, which keep the...

    Backbone Skin Chafing/Irritation

Here you go - I found it on Nanda's site. It's long, narrow and not too deep, but continues on down out of site partially underneath the seat pan. If you put something down inside, you will likely have to turn the bike upside down to get it out! I have a spare tube in there now.

    Backbone Skin Chafing/Irritation

As a temporary attempt at a fix, I used a couple of layers of duct-tape over the opening. I didn't notice any discomfort on my 10 mile one-way commute to work this morning, but that may not be enough miles for me to notice.

    Backbone Skin Chafing/Irritation

I put on a lot of miles this past weekend and have noticed that my middle back area over the spine is really red and irritated from hours on the seat. My guess is that it is somehow being rubbed by the channel in the seat back that serves as a storage area. Is my body geometry unique or has...

    platform pedals

Riding the lowracer even in city traffic I stay clipped it and it is very comfortable. On the Silvio, I can't seem to find that total comfort zone when I'm clipped in and I'm not sure why. I've accidentally unclipped several times and the angle doesn't feel right. I may try experimenting with...

    platform pedals

I've used clipless Speedplay Frogs for years on my Nazca and love them - in fact I wouldn't consider riding it without them. However, I can't seem to get comfortable with them on the Silvio, and they don't seem to provide me with as much benefit. Granted, I only have several hundred miles on it...

    Those Zany BROLers

It's always the same few who have never even seen a Cruzbike let alone ridden one, but yet they are somehow experts on it. Dano

    Introducing CBSV-090

Thanks - and good luck with yours! I will take some pictures tonight to better explain but essentially it is held on to the bike by 3 plastic bike accessory clamps (marked CL-018) I had laying around. They are the perfect diamter to clamp down with enough pressure on to one rear chainstay and...

    Introducing CBSV-090

Hello! I am the proud owner of the Silvio shown in the pictures. I purchased the Shimano Sora equipped Silvio from Nanda at Spincyclz last October. It was a pleasure to deal with Nanda throughout the transaction. I’ve owned recumbents for years, and my other bike is a Nazca Fuego lowracer which...
