In my experience the Omnium works fine with only slight modification needed for FWD MBB bicycles. Hope you will enjoy yours. I bought the original Sportcrafters Omnium trainer which I found used on eBay a few years ago. I didn't need a smart trainer so it suits me just fine and I still use it...
