    Don't respond to spam

Hi, O.k. There's no reason you should listen to me. I'm not an admin on this board, but... Yes, it's very annoying when people spam the board. But responding to it (even just posting the "Spam" picture (which is quite funny) just gives the spammers what they want. More attention...

Two questions for anyone who owns both a Vendetta and a Silvio

My uninformed opinion:Once My uninformed opinion: Once you have a Vendetta, I'd go even more utilitarian for the second bike (like a Quest). I understand why people who own Silvios can't stop and get Vendettas, but once you have a Vendetta, a Silvio (v)2(0 ) doesn't seem like enough of a...

Hi,It's a good question with Hi, It's a good question with well reasoned points. I'll be interested to find out the answer. Cheers, Charles Added: I agree with Robert below about the steep learning curve. If you don't tell people it's difficult, they have a tendency to...

    Vendetta TT v2 for sale

It's off-topic, but It's off-topic, but I love how Cruzbike not only has the for sale forum (which means some people are buying used bikes instead of new bikes) but also has their representatives actively helping this. Very much makes me believe I'm part of a community, not a fad. :)

    Best Climbing Recumbent

To be fair, there are people To be fair, there are people who don't put out as much power at a low seat angle. So they might not do as well on a Vendetta as something much more upright. Whether that limitation can be completely trained away or not isn't clear to me (not that kind of doctor).

    trail/rake best for conversion kit

A little off topic, but:I A little off topic, but: I learned how to ride a Cruzbike with my Sofrider. I put together my Cruzigami Mantis conversion and within 5 minutes was riding it with no hands. The two bikes feel very similar to each other. To make this relevant again...

    trail/rake best for conversion kit

Hi Robert, I'm going to Hi Robert, I'm going to disagree here with you. Yes, there are conversions out there that are built poorly. But not so many of these. I've been watching the evolution over at BROL of Cruzbikes and how they were "weird", etc. Most reports I saw from...

Anybody using a disc brake on the front wheel of new V20?

The problem with disc front The problem with disc front caliper back brakes is how different the two brakes feel. If you can overcome that (and it shouldn't be too hard), it's not completely crazy. And having a 160 up front is almost certainly worth the weight penalty.

packing the Quest with 26" wheels for flight

I'm a big fan of the 451 I'm a big fan of the 451 Quest, so I'd go that way. I'll point out that your chainstay is longer on the 559 and the 451, so you may have a little bit tougher time fitting it in the suitcase, but I believe it still fits. The issue with the bigger wheels isn't...

    Good long ride today.

I find that if I'm tense, I find that if I'm tense, then I can feel instabilities. If I'm loose, then there are no issues. So I think Kim is right that it's mostly technique.

    TTrike!!!!

Watch the video closely. On I assume that when you put the trike on the ground, one of the wheels is up front, but it probably doesn't matter why. So I'd expect that half the time you'll have the right one up front.

    TTrike!!!!

Maria Parker is showing I think this is something of a red herring as I as well as many others (and probably Maria) can ride these bikes easily with no hands.

    TTrike!!!!

just to trough a possible Huh. That's not crazy at all. I can imagine it might not work out (or need to be tuned to rider weight), but definitely worth a look.
