My every day transportation, with hub motor, side bags, and rack

@jond On my last camping trip, for the challenge I did 25 miles and 1k feet of climbing with the Sofrider loaded with 55 lbs of camp stuff (110 lbs total), and it took some energy but it wasn't actually that bad. Though if the weather was hotter, or there was say twice the climbing, it would've...

    Electric Quest

Having enjoyed my electric Sofrider so much over the last 1.5 years, I wanted another so both me and my partner could ride assisted and in laid back fashion. I also wanted to try out bringing an electric bike with me on airplane trips, but the 26" wheels may make this impractical. I've yet to...

My every day transportation, with hub motor, side bags, and rack

Having my Sofrider for a couple years, it's about time to post it here. I added a Mac 10T 500W (~1300W in practice) motor with 10ah LIFePO4 battery. Also added Radical Design Medium side bags, and a typical rack mounted to the frame holes near the axle, and angle brackets attached underneath...

    test ride?

I should check this more often. I live in San Francisco, and have an electrified Sofrider and Quest, as well as a stock Silvio 1.5. It's really only practical to test the Silvio if you happen to be around the same height (5'7") because it's quite an undertaking to adjust.

    Wanted: < 2.0 Silvio

Quick glance on this thread Quick glance on this thread shows the last 5 pre-2.0 Silvios selling from 1600$ to 2400$. Those are all with components, so given that the frameset is about 79% the value of the bike, I would say 1270$ to 1900$, depending on the condition, plus whatever the value of...

    Wanted: < 2.0 Silvio

Either one would be great . I Either one would be great :-). I should have no trouble building it up, that might even be preferable.

    Wanted: < 2.0 Silvio

Currently I have an electric assist Sofrider which does great for getting around town, but there's nothing like powering a precision racing machine with pure muscle on a recreational ride. I live in San Francisco currently, and don't want to be in a bed reclining position while riding around, so...

Looking for someone with any MBB recumbent, but ideally a nicer Cruzbike in San Francisco

I'm in the lower haight neighborhood, but I'm willing to meet pretty much anywhere accessible via public transit. I've been riding a Lightning P38 recumbent for several years, but I'm ready to upgrade. I've been intrigued by the MBB option ever since I discovered it a few years ago.
