Love to get a Vendetta but?

At 81... if you get a Vendetta... you stand to be the fastest 80 year old on a bike. What has age got to do with it? If you have the vendetta more aero then you probably sacrifice power. It's usually determined by the type of seat you have with the vendetta. I am pretty low down on mine. Going...

    V20 for sale in Sweden

Hey T.C... I went out and bought a speedfill F1 hydration unit. Did u drill holes to fit it to the disc brake mount or did you buy an adaptor? I have a race in two weeks and I thought it would be dead easy to fit but now I am not so sure?

    World Championships 2019 - 19-21 July - Nandax - France

Nandax today is going to be about 100.4f today ... that is pretty hot. Well it should be quite an experience. Maybe the heatwave blows its self out. Need to think more about hydration. I bought some very interesting hydration glass capsules of aka modified sea water ... keeps all the minerals...

    600K brevet in Trondheim, Norway

Might take you up on that kind offer... Spain at the moment is hells kitchen but i am still training for France on the 19 to 21st July. Not sure what its going to be like or even if it will happen. Tarmac at 55 c degrees melts as its done in Australia. Might turn my hydro bag into an ice bag and...

    600K brevet in Trondheim, Norway

Same boat... i freeze if i stop pedaling... the ride does feel better if the wheels are balanced. I quite often find it gusty. I have a deep rim on the front so good to be cautious.

    600K brevet in Trondheim, Norway

Hey Tor, I saw it all... impressive. Even that little dog couldn't believe his eyes... classic. Tell me... You must know the roads up there inside out.... Did you have a map routing on your cyclometer? Guess you must have had an extra big spare battery? Also the ambient light at night... is it...

Think I'm Going to Love This

You might prefer to be more aero and cut the headrest down like i did. LOL I also took the inners out of my ventisit deluxe cushion and rapped it around and made a neck rest.

Think I'm Going to Love This

Giro air attack... i havent tried the new version... i think its called the vanquish. The giro works for me as the shield just about reaches my cheek bones so its super aero. The other day i had a good ride with my super airy helmet but ended up with sore eyes . I live in an arid dusty climate...

    New to the Group

Welcome... bike is a bike is a bike. But a Vendetta is not a bike... its a flying crazy dream machine. Love Cruzbike'n but if it the respect it deserves. 50kph is 10 feet per minute so learn at a slow speed before opening her up.

    Tubeless Tire Blow-out

I don't think any tubeless tire would work with a 7mm hole. Yep I like controlled stops. I go tubeless but I still carry an innertube... just in case and a dollar bill. You never know when you need Uncle Sam to seal the ordeal. I stash a small hand pump as well in case I run out of CO2.

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

Yep. . Tie the cable up and fix it when you get home. But if i could get by with the cable tensioner that was fine by me :)

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

Xshifter... now if there was expert battery management the system would select an easier gear just before you were to lose complete power. Otherwise you have to tweak the cable tensioner in hopes that you can manually select an easier gear. Doesnt help if you have just gone down a hill when...

Help Larry get to the World Championships and represent Cruzbike

If push comes to shove; i will be using the front pedal and yet they allow disc brakes in the peleton. Seems like rules are created to suit a given purpose. I have been using those centred cleats and i am surprised how stiff ive become. I can see i will have to quickly retrain the muscle sets

Help Larry get to the World Championships and represent Cruzbike

A cleat out of the book of life ... Larry style (I am trying to up the power to weight ratio... if anyone else tries with these... use zero float otherwise you will be all over the road trying to get out of the pedal). I can see great improvements so i will register in the next day or two

    XShifter...new wireless shifting option

Usually i have to interface with the xshifter with an iphone. Today i updated the app software and xshifter firmware via android. Ans stone me... it worked and it keeps my settings. However i still don't see battery power percentage. This is a bit irritating. Perhaps its time to charge up the...

Hit a nerve with this guy on youtube comments

I have been watching caleb Ewan in the Giro d'italia ... that rider flies on the sprint. 1400watts plus. As they say technique rules. Apparently he has a huge stem and a little bike and his nose almost touches the front tire
