My wife Marie was NOT interested in a chest strap so we got a Scosche Rhythm armband for her.
Running endomundo and Scosche heartrate at the same time did not work.
Every time she checked her gps speed app the heartrate app stopped.
Not sure if we tried MapMyRide or not. Should try again with...
Going 4 economy I got ANT+ heart, cadence, and speed sensors paired with a Cateye Stealth 50 Cycling Computer.
Data transfer and battery recharge are thru a USB cradle.
and the sensors are in place if I get Garmin fever.

My wife said you would rather buy a used bike instead of a new laptop ??? YOU NUTS !!
mmmmmm yup,
Drove 130 miles one way to pick up a craigslist Sofrider .
put it on a trainer and adjusted boom, played with all the controls.
You tube "how to ride" and page 13 of the users manual. ( pre Ratz...
A picture of your crank would make any answers more accurate.
Has the LBS (local bike shop) examined your bike's crank ?
I would GUESS you have a compact crank that has removable crank bolts and you can purchase a chainring and bashguard to replace your damaged equipment and keep your crank...
What BB (botttom bracket) width did you change to ???
"For a double chainring, you'll need a 68mm wide English type bottom bracket with a 115mm axle width. For a triple you'll need 113mm axle width,"

The truth behind Larry's trailer building fetish has been revealed !!
It was only the first step in a larger plot to amass large amounts of bikes and large amounts of ride data.

manual online. look at bottom of silvio page.
some of the newer gpx bottom brackets ( shimano ?) have a smaller collar diameter than the clamps on your frame.

The LBS will ask for the BCD (bolt circle diameter) or if its a compact or standard ? crankset.
Last I heard the Quest used a compact or 110 bcd crankset.
You can check using a ruler. BCD measure http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_bo-z.html

Someday Cruzbike will have a history/story page maybe with previous models info, ect.
Whoo hooo Jason
I hope you are smiling , you earned it.
Now that the dust has settled, what might you have changed ??
I know you didn't have the equipment investment you might have had if the bike was yours.
??? more rides in darkness ??
how did the headrest and padding work out for you ...
Nothing wrong. The racing industry moved to designs that better secured the crank arms. Most of the remaining square taper cranks are lower priced models.

Heh, Robert ??? What kind of 10 speed shifter did you use ?
If your back is on the seat you can't move the frame relative to your body. You will have to spin or use movement of the boom.
I don't really get the video either,, I unweight my butt so I feel more like I am standing on the pedals or I sit up so my hips and waist feel involved . If my boom...
Looking good,,,
hope you get those fitting tweaks dealt with.
did sitting up and rocking the bike frame let you climb without spinning out ?
