I'm another David. The bike is a bit of dream bike. It's nice to feel like a kid again. Whenever I take her out I say I am just going out for a little ride but quite often it is all but kicking butt. It's so hot in the south of Spain that all the fast riders from Madrid come down to the summer...

    Chainring crash damage

That's an old Shimano Ultegra crank. New ones have 4 bolts. Has anyone seen elliptical chainwheel guards (Not that I would ever imagine putting one on)?

Comparing Vendetta & DF power outputs

If there is a fast peloton going uphill , think twice about passing it. It was weird. A lot of expensive bikes wizzed pass me as I reached an intersection. These guys were motoring. 42kph. And then I said did I want to? I only had plans of going out for a casual 150watt burn. I eventually...

Titanium Bike frame for $250 AU

Wow.... a house built in 24 hours.... and a bike in 20 minutes... I want a 3D aeroplane next so I can fly my Vendetta around.

Titanium Bike frame for $250 AU

Heck.... It's a game changer. Twenty minutes to 3D print a bike! Next I bet they will be printing cheap houses using the same process. If they want to grow fast then think franchise. Awesome news. Perhaps carbon might be "on yer bike".

    Q ring upgrade - Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

I spent probably too long on my QXL ring on setting number 5. I decided to switch this weekend. I have a nagging left hip so it was time to give it some more love. I changed the position to number 4. I changed the cassette too to a 11/32 and changed to red Look cleats to give me more float. Gosh...

    The 'V' has arrived!

In the beginning you are always fighting the bike.. even now I still constantly say relax. It is an incredible feeling. I have been watching the Tour de France. That type of racing is so different. V is more of an enduro racer. Something you can ride every day. Even if you are 50+. I love riding...

How to Humiliate a group of carbon DFs Singlehanded!!

I hadn't thought of camera angle. If his bars are 42cm, it would be ideal unless your name is @LarryOz

How to Humiliate a group of carbon DFs Singlehanded!!

Some hills just go on and on. It's best just to sit back and keep the cadence going... from the video it looked as though Marco's arms are wider than they need to be. Eventually every climb gets to a descent and then everything works better if it's aero. I am actually quite impressed with his...

Only because he was told to. Can't have him falling down in that race.

    better climber?

Gosh.... my fantasy a carbon fibre Vendetta.... That's the ultimate. Don't think it will ever happen. :(

How to Humiliate a group of carbon DFs Singlehanded!!

I enjoyed watching. Sure it's a bit of a battle. I don't think he was riding a vendetta as he his head was a little high. If he had narrower bars , lower head and tighter jersey it wouldn't have been over in flash

    Deep Rims

The irony is that the pro peloton use tubular? Guess they like putting their tires up at high pressure... that's the only reason I can think. Anyways... I live in a place with desert like conditions. Last couple of days it's been 42c in the street. If you go tubeless ... realize that your wheels...

    LEL 2017

I use el tiempo ... it works quite well for me. No one knows for sure what the last week in July will be. It's a bit like who will win TDF ... one assumes it will be Froome but no one knows. I have been watching stage 9 and those riders had a heart rate of 200 bpm ... must have been all that...
