    25.something dropbars?

Hi Randy, For what it's Hi Randy, For what it's worth, I didn't like the twist shifters either. I don't like them in general and I find they got in the way when I pulled up on the handlebars (meaning, I accidentally shifted gears a lot like this). I bought a set of SRAM X.4 trigger...

    25.something dropbars?

Hi Randy, That is good news Hi Randy, That is good news all around. I think if people come into learning how to ride a Cruzbike with (1) this is going to be weird and different at first and (2) I'll get it eventually, then things will go well. And since her first lesson was gliding...

Hi, In general, I think Hi, In general, I think you're good to go: * I looked at the Quest pictures (never seen one in person) and I don't see anything that would interfere with a 34T cassette. * I believe that, in general, SRAM and Shimano cassettes are compatible with each...

    Silvio with fairing and/or tailsok?

HI Bob, For what it's worth, HI Bob, For what it's worth, the Silvio still has the rider fairly upright (at least compared to the Vendetta). To me, this suggests that a fairing (and socking) make sense. I know people have put fairings on Sofriders and Quests (and they basically have the...

Here's a link to a french Here's a link to a french forum that talks about a moquito velomobile. It is a FWD trike (although it is not a MBB because the steering/leaning is done with the rear wheels). Quite cool. :D

    Riding no-hands

Hi, For what it's worth, I Hi, For what it's worth, I find pedaling up a small incline the easiest as far as no hands. I've gone 1/10 of a mile (160m), so it looks to me that you're ahead of me. It used to be that I was best off keeping my hands just over the handlebars. Not so much...

Conversion kit instructions? Issue with Downtube suspension fork?

Living without power isn't Living without power isn't horrible, mostly just a little annoying. The two concerns are (1) basement flooding since sump pump won't run without electricity and (2) losing food in refrigerator/freezer. Luckily it isn't too cold outside. Cheers, Charles

Conversion kit instructions? Issue with Downtube suspension fork?

Hi Hilry, You're absolutely Hi Hilry, You're absolutely right about the pictures but I've got no power at home right now due to Sandy, so that's going to have to wait (we're fine otherwise!). I very much like your quill to ahead adapter idea. My fallback position was to be to saw an...

Conversion kit instructions? Issue with Downtube suspension fork?

Hi, It's a threaded fork on Hi, It's a threaded fork on the Downtube where the stem attached to the handlebars goes inside the for steerer tube. Mentioning the Sofrider instructions was a good idea (and I even have a Sofrider to look at), but the Sofrider is unthreaded, so I'm still...

whats coming up in the new Vendetta

Hi John, More seriously than Hi John, More seriously than my previous post (not that red isn't fast): I do understand your point about having a lot of stock with the wrong color. Maybe it would make sense to make both yellow Vendettas and nude Vendettas*. You could even offer to get...
