Thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eyes open for it next year.
So, by your screen name, avatar, your bias and all, is it a fair assumption you brew for Full Sail?
Thanks!
We've had over a month of crappy weather, capping off a really poor year for riding for myself. My 2009 resolution is to get back in shape for the Sept. centuries (missed both of my favorites in 2008) and to do them both on a Cruzbike. My confidence level is getting higher and higher...
I've heard that said several times. Usually, it's "That's the first recumbent design I've seen that makes sense".
Good stuff and believe me, you'll get over that superman stuff!

It's true, you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying a little extra for quality Continentals because they ride nice and wear well.
As I said, I'll be interested to hear how they perform for you!

My fitness is still good and it won't take long to get it back. I just didn't have any endurance at my current (or should I say two weeks ago's) peak output.
Life got in the way! Family obligations and the weather had turned to crap. Brutally cold mornings, for us. It was just to easy to...
John set the standard high, so in trying to live up to his challenge, here goes the first ride report of the year.
For years, there has been an informal ride to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA. My son and I first did this ride many years ago. In all, I think I rode it four times. It's a...
What bar are you running on your bike, Lev?
Don't get me wrong; I think you did a great job, it's a nice looking bike. I just think your shifters are a titch too high up on the bar for my taste. Also, the bar ticking your knees once in a while won't hurt a thing because I almost guarantee...
Rotate the handlebars forward. Not sure your shifters are deep enough into the drops. It sure doesn't look right, to me. Also, I think your handlebar height is a tad too high. The bar should JUST clear your knees. Otherwise, the bike looks great. Ride the crap out of it!

That's a toughy. 24's would ride better and be easier to gear up. In my experience, 20's ride tough. I realize you have to make exceptions for portability, but you can get crafty around any wheel size.

I love this time of year and the seasonals available. Santa's Private Reserve by Rogue is really good. Widmer makes one called Brrrr. It's really good, too. I like Delerium Noel real well, too.

Exactly the point. As great of power source as nuclear energy is; it's not worth the cost, IMHO. A lot of the trouble is; people can't quit thinking along the lines of one central producer that makes electricity for everybody and we buy it from them. I guess that's capitalism at it's finest...
So, what do you propose to do with the waste? That's the issue on nuclear. Nobody wants that crap being hauled and or stored in their back yard. Me included.
I agree that a lot more could be done with solar/wind generation and I think you will see more of it soon. I understand they've come...
