    Power Meter FTP testing

Jason, I wouldn't beat myself up over it. This is a good result and at least a minimum FTP number to start with on your V. I still think it is harder to make the power laying back at 20 degrees that upright on the DF. But I also think if you work at it long enough you can train your leg muscles...

    Deep Rims

David, Go idea, but I also fear the real problem is that is will "slip" while riding (probably cornering) and then you are on the ground. :( I have a found another Chinese make of Carbon Fiber rims/wheels that now has the true-tubeless profile: with R38 PowerRay CF hub and Sapin Sookes - $605...

Believe me, it is only entertaining to everyone else - for some reason especially to the person that has to help you change your dressings all the time! Looking forward to your feedback!

Come on Jon - tell me you did not push the play button just to see what would happen.... ;) haha

    Urinating on ultras

Never had that problem Jon, but I do also "tape" the tube below my waste, so maybe most of it drains out automatically. I'll tell you the worst problem is getting the little bugger off since it has adhesive on it. Usually takes a good 15 minutes in the shower or tube and is slightly (ok - not so...

    Deep Rims

David, I bought my original 80mm CF wheels (with Cruzbike Vendetta logos) from light bicycle about 18 months ago. They where great and fast. Too bad I included them in the trade of my V2.2 for the M1 Anyway - I emailed light-bicycle about the rims I bought and asked them if they were tubeless...

    Absolute Black Oval Chainring

I have not. I used SRAM rival cranks because I need 140mm length. I don't think I can without investing a bunch of money to buy and modify the CF crankset.

Fit Issue (crank is offset 0.200")

I took off my FD a whilw time ago and only ride on the large chain ring of 52t. I did that for my Century record last Oct just to be more aero and just never put it back on. Even here in the mountains, I seem to be able to ride most everything up to short 8% grades on my 11x32, but I do notice...

Fit Issue (crank is offset 0.200")

I just measured my left and right cranks to the boom, and I am only off by less than 0.03" But - I do have my BB offset 0.1" to the crank side. Which means, if I centered the BB in the clamps I would also be off 0.2" - but it would be my left side that would have the larger distance from the...

    Seattle Bike Show

It not just the color, as each color that is out there looks great and we each have our preference. But to me the BOOM is what gives the V2 it presence: Polished aluminum slider - slipped into the even larger colored boom with "CRUZBIKE" yelling out from it. The red and gray V20's would also...

    Urinating on ultras

Sure it does Jason - you are just not pedaling hard enough - stop loafing with those DF's and really put the "pedal to the metal". Hammer harder and harder until you don't have to pee any more.. .. In all seriousness, I have no idea. I can't stay on a DF long enough to even have to pee so...

    Deep Rims

These look very close to the 80mm rims I had made with the custom "Cruzbike Vendetta" logo on them. I will be very interested in how mounting the 26mm tubeless works on them. What brand of tubeless are you using? What kind of sealant? Looking forward to your report - as I am looking to switch...

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

I have spoken with the makers of Kervelo. The front "hub" assembly contains an 18-speed Pinion internally geared drive, which I had suspected when I saw the video. They are still in prototype mode and do not even have pricing yet for full production. I am trying to get them to build me a hub...

    Urinating on ultras

There you have it! If you have to pee a lot whilst riding, then you are not working hard enough - so pedal harder, pee less. I can relate to this; I hardly ever have to pee during my 30 or 60 second sprint intervals because I am at maximal effort, but when I ride multiple hours at only 150...
