Stac Zero (4iiii Fliiiight) - Trainer experience

@ElyDave the ANT+ dongle works fine with my PowerMeter version so definitely worth a try. If you do get the Stac, let me know how it works out for you.

Just don't tangle tactics with Kyle! He'll take all your strengths and use them against you. Lucky for me, if I ever make it down there I won't be competing with Kyle anyway, just trying to finish the century before the 12 hour participants are done... Thanks for the ride report Kyle. Kudos...

Stac Zero (4iiii Fliiiight) - Trainer experience

The wheel change is not effortless in that it is giant thumb screws that do the clamp onto the skewer. I have not so far been able to get videos working with GoldenCheetah and the StacZero (I started working on this last week). It appears as though it should be able to be done but I need some...

Stac Zero (4iiii Fliiiight) - Trainer experience

@ElyDave, 1-(Assuming these are aluminum alloy - they need to allow for electrical eddy currents.) 2-Setup is easy on my Power Meter version - easier on the Halcyon Smart trainer version - The new software apparently calibrates every time you start to ride automatically in the first several...

    How to ride hands free?

Just like riders of diamond frame bikes range from once-a-year-to-the-park-excursionist to professional-trials-experts - I would postulate that everyone will have a different level of ability, agility, experience, etc. that they bring when learning a skill such as no-hands. Some may not be able...

    How to ride hands free?

McWheels suggestion is very good. I would even say that the loostening the grip is important even if you do not aspire to riding no hands. Sparsely populated trails are helpful as is piles of time riding. And having good setup makes a difference too. Best of luck.

"Winter" - Cruzbike Virtual Time Trial Challenge

Hi Larry, I did a couple rides but I'm still having some difficulties. First, my trainer will not retain the wheel circumference in settings; it reverts to a 700 wheel setting every time, so I think it is reporting power based on calculations from a 622mm rim but I'm using a 559 mountain bike...

Disc brake options / using mountain bike disc brakes

@Doug Kline I hear you on the mechanic-attitude! I have had many similar experiences. Not all bike mechanics are like the one that zinged you though. Best of luck and wishing you excellent braking!

Vendetta frame life i.e well made tough as teak.

@DavidCH: So, you like titanium noodles do you? :p Intentional mis-understanding is a highly developed skill taking years of practice and training. Closely related to punny studies and sarcasm lifts.

Zwift - Cruzbike Activities (races and group rides)

The other night I did my max on the trainer for this year: 1 hr on the bike - I'll get there but 2 hours I would not be able to do (yet) as tingling starts about at 30-40 minutes. Next time...
