    Steering damper/stabilizer

Come on boys, I'm a soon to be 66 year old woman who loves chasing down younger roadies on my Silvio and Vendetta, just the way they are. Just suck it up and ride .(smiley face didn't show up)

New to Cruzbike. Can't decide between Silvio or Vendetta

I have a Silvio and a Vendetta. I have a Ventisit on the Silvio and a Bacchetta foam and cover on the Vendetta. Both are comfortable, but I think I like the foam better. The original seat pads didn't work for my back. The head rests have been cut down on both and are now comfortable, with foam...

Diet: Low Carb and Ultra Cycling

I don't know if this would apply to anyone, but my husband's nephew recently lost about 50 pounds relatively quickly. I'm not sure of the time frame, but he ended up having to have his gall bladder removed. It was due to the weight loss. Be careful out there.

    Too much neck flexion

I was having neck pain too, so I kept sliding down thinking this would help. What eventually fixed it pretty much was cutting the headrest tubes height about 2" per Maria, and then actually backing it further out. Both Silvio and Vendetta were done, and with several padding changes, they are...

    New Vendetta picked up!

Ratz, I bought the Frogs. However, there is large warning that states if you swap the spindles, they will NOT release outwardly. I'm now hesitant to try this. Was this warning on yours? Thanks, Joy

    New Vendetta picked up!

He's riding an Encore or a Silvio. He is usually out in front of me, but I can now give him a run for his money, for at least a short distance. I'm still a little too nervous to clip in, as there are lots of crossings on our bike trails and I sometimes have problems getting going. Lots of...

    New Vendetta picked up!

Haven't put many miles yet, but so far I love it! Faster and easier to maintain speed. Let's me keep my husband in the rear view mirror.

    Rear Rack

I made one for my Silvio, which would similarly work on a Vendetta. It is pictured in my post titled "First Silvio road ride" under qajaqdennis from Dec. 2014 if anyone is interested.

Suggestions on sizing from anyone who has one....I am right on the high number for small. Should I go up? Where do you measure? Thanks, sorry for the dumb questions.

Try contacting the Coastal Cruisers Bicycle Club. They are a little north of Ft. Myers around the Rotunda area. We will be in Englewood in Jan. with a Silvio and an Encore.

Yet another hill question for my Silvio.

I rode this short, but very steep hill today on my Silvio. Speed at the top was 3.1. The problem was the wheel kept slipping on almost every revolution. I sat up and pulled on the bars, which helped, but did not eliminate the problem. Further up the route, the road turns to hard packed gravel...

I'm in love I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.

I couldn't get the headrest to fit me, so I made a soft neck pad out of some fleece material, with velcro on straps to hold it onto the headrest. Worked out fine. Helmet is much better. I can't get over how much I love this bike. It just works for me. Who would think a 64 year old woman would...
