Keep your build details up to date

So we all have various posts of when we built our bike and when we upgrade components but it can be a bit messy to keep track of so I thought it might be nice to have one thread with up to date details of everyone's build details. You can then edit the post when you upgrade. I will start...

Are FLO wheels really this slow...??

I am interested skinny tyre's up front factor. I am among those opting for wider tubeless tyres but this is saying I should run skinnier in the front but still fatter in the rear, anybody else in this camp looking at switching?

    Tubeless tires anyone?

@RojoRacing you have another convert from Orange Seal to Truckerco. Their online store now ships to Australia at a reasonable rate, isit only just cheaper than Orange with shipping plus from what I hear should work better (not that I have had an issue with Orange). I also picked up some tape in...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

You should be able to convert that rim to tubeless. You can buy a conversion kit that includes special tape and valves or as @RojoRacing suggested to me use gaffer tape (it may be slightly heavier but I have had no trouble since the switch from fancy silca tape). You will still need to buy...

Our Three T50 Builds, and Maybe a Sofrider Retro-fit

Looking great. I am looking forward to getting my boys on a Cruzbike eventually (they are one at the moment it might be a while), who knows by that time Cruzbike may have child sizes and I can start them on a Cruzbike :p:cruzbike:

Riding in the cold (not really) poll

So I decided to create a poll for a bit of fun. I finally have the opportunity to head out as the boys are in childcare and I am on holidays. It is winter here in Australia, which means it's not really cold for most of you but cold enough for me (13C with a maximum of 15C). I thought I would...

    That Jason Perez dork

I didn't realise @RojoRacing and I were the same age. Unfortunately I am in a completely different class, that is father of twins :p. Really interesting read and congrats Jason on all the great work. Hopefully I will get in a ride or two in the school holidays. I am also hoping to get back to...

Recollections of my first 12 hour cycling event. Washington, NC

I found the Ventisit indispensable particularly for ventilation in the warmer climate but also more comfortable IIRC (it's been a while since I have used the stock padding). I do a lot of commuting which requires lots of scooting. This does lead to eventual holes in cheap shorts and some...

To Prospective V20 owners: A Review from David Zinke

I almost feel inspired to create a video or other such web publication to properly display this fantastic promotion for Cruzbike and the V20. I am on holidays so could have the time and I do have access to Adobe Premier through school (I may have started and realised while I have some enough...

Taking On The Hour Record - On A Penny Farthing?!

If you cut a hole in your seat and eat your beans your could possibly make a cruzbike into a jump jet (maybe a short jump) :D

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

You will have to switch to disc brakes. That said 28mm Schwalbe one pros are too close to my yellow frame for comfort so I run 25mm at 80psi. Feels great.

Larry what do you use that has no padding? I have discussed with eleven.cc / breathevelo.cc about special ordering their merino bibs sans chamois but at $200aud the twins say no. Also I am a little concerned the Ventisit pad will rip them to shreds just like they do my chinese nicks.

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Where from Jon? Not that I have expendable income for the next 18 - 25 years but I like to dream :p:D

    Cracked Carbon Wheel

Should I put my requests in now. My list isn't that long really :p

    Cracked Carbon Wheel

I agree with @RojoRacing I damaged a DT Swiss alloy rim, the rim dented which definitely prohibited running tubeless, but also I didn't want to run it with a tube for too long either , hence the upgrade to carbon.

You Know You Are a Cruzbiker When...

You know you are a Cruzbiker when you are constantly thinking of ways to make your bike more aero and or lighter, even though your only ride is one commute a week (there and back). (I still need to seal the bottom triangles and I have my own idea for a moosepack). You know you are a Cruzbiker...
