    I use crank bros candy super I use crank bros candy super lite and eggbeaters they both unclip ok.Sometimes you have to grind out your shoes to give the clets more clearance. I saw this happen at a bent shop. Jack

    Too highI wouldnt go over 24in seat higth. Low is alot better for starting and handling.I would spend a few extra $ and get a V2 frameset. Jack

    My trip

    Just got back from a three week camping trip through Utah and Colorado.Took the Quest along and did a lot of riding on bike paths ,dirt roads and one decent on Loveland Pass.I just rode down but it was fun hit 40 mph at one point and bike handled great. Jack

    Found a nice fanny pack at a thrift store and found it works great as a seat bag. I bolted this one on but might try Velcro later for quick release. Jack

    Partial Quest fold

    No picture yet but it works great. Remove rear wheel ,seat and handle bar mast,unbolt rear shock. Now just rotate swing arm. I did this on a short trip and had plenty of room for the Silvio and all my kayak fishing stuff in a short bed mini truck. Jack

    This ought to be under ride reports its more of a Quest road test.There were about 20 bents one trike some long wheelbase but most were high racers. I was going to ride with the slower group but somehow ended up with the guys doing 17-20. I found the Quest could keep up that pace ok. Even hit 32...

    Touring bars on Trek

    The Wald 8095 touring bars work so well on the Silvio just had to try them on the Trek.These are steel but dont flex much so I can really pull on them.These bars are just right for the conversion. Jack

    Just put some chain-l lube on my Silvio now its super smooth and quiet. Try it if you are having chain problems. Jack

    Here is how I set up my cruiser bars.You can cut off the ends if they are too long.I took off 1.5in off these.Bars are 24.5 in wide and have a small amount of rise.If you buy them be sure they have a bump where the stem clamps on.I had to exchange mine. Jack

    More changes

    Found a new Ultegra long cage derailer on ebay for 40$ too good to pass up.It works a lot better than the LX. I now have 2000 fun filed miles on the bike with no problems. Im looking forward to the Bentup Cycles ride in 3 weeks. Jack

    foot restraint ?

    I use Crank bros Candy C and eggbeaters on my bikes. Unclipping is easy as long as you dont wait too long to unclip. Jack
