Acceleration will be affected by the weight. It's not a criterium bike for sure. But the key thing is to dial in the fit to the point that you can almost generate the same power as you did on the DF. Focus on fit, i.e. optimum hip angle, leg extension, arm extension and shoulder suport e.t.c...

Congratulations! A little tip that you probably already know: I sit up when riding over rough patches. I keep my phone , zipped inside a frame bag, sometimes padded by a spare tube.

An alterantive to achieve a push/pull effect is to suspend the rear part of the cruzbike on a string as originally demonstrated by former Cruzbike original designer and Co-founder John Tolhurst: Which, by the way, would the best way to safely teach new riders the counter steer effect of a cruzbike!

I think any standard 10,11 or 12 speed 700C roadbike wheel hub (spacing is 132.5mm hence accepting a range 130mm to 135mm) with a standard quick release should fit the front of the S40. It's just a roadbike with wheels reversed back to front;).

+1 Once the MBB is perfectly dialed in, the only difference, to me, really (with the exception of traction on extreme grades) is the weight in favour of the DF. My DIY MBB, out performs my DF on rolling terrains even if my DF is lighter by 6Kgs!
