Hurray! Silvio 2.0 is now shipping!

Note on headrest My scissor jacks for the headrest seemed to be a little short and didn't spread quite far enough. I used PVC tape (thick tape) on the inside of the frame where the headrest tube seats. I also used all 4 rubber sleeves over the tubing. The PVC tape made the opening for the...

Boom too long - cut it?

Boom length I had to cut mine about 2", there was no way to get a shorter fit. That still leaves plenty of length for a taller rider. I'm 5'9" with a 42" x-seam.

    Silvio 2.1 Arrived!

FWD Good to see that things are getting better. Based on my experience, take it slow and easy, don't try to progress too fast. You'll find that every time you ride the experience will get better and better until all of the strange sensations become natural. It's weird how your brain compensates...

Hurray! Silvio 2.0 is now shipping!

34x23 I can do 10% grades with the 11/23 cogset only for short periods, I need the 11/28 for longer climbs. Actually the 11/28 is better for sustained 7-8% also.

Hurray! Silvio 2.0 is now shipping!

Road bars Road bars are Ritchey, I believe they are 440mm, the widest they make. I'm only 5'9"and kind of skinny, I wouldn't' recommend them if you are a large person, might not be enough leg room. Ergonomics is great, somewhat like the Vendetta.

    Seat/Headrest Question

Head rest Had a similar issue with my Vendetta. I became comfortable when I stopped using it as a head rest and started using it as a neck rest. I suggest fitting the rest to the curve of your neck and not placing your head on the rest at all.

New Vendetta For Sale in Central Illinois

50 miles I didn't get comfortable on my Vendetta for at least 300-400 miles ( 3 or 4 weeks ). Now , if it weren't for the potholes, I'd probably fall asleep. You might give it a little more time, the effort is definitely worth it.

wheels: unwise to go with 20/24 spoke wheel set?

24 spokes? I've used Rolf wheels for years, on my DF bikes as well as my Cruzbikes. They're 16 spoke on the drive wheel and 14 on the non-drive.I've had no problems at all. I weight 140 lbs. and now ride a Vendetta and Silvio.

How Much Room in the Cockpit?

Correct position After having my Vendetta for a year now, I find that I'm still making minor adjustments. I've found that if I extend myself too far I have knee discomfort and neck problems. I've found the most comfortable position is a more compressed position which makes for more powerful...

How Much Room in the Cockpit?

Cockpit room I ordered a silvio 2.0 without the chainstay extension. I have a vendetta and a silvio 1.5( I'm 5'9") I think the angle of the boom has a direct relation to the seatback angle. John has this dialed in pretty well...Steve

    Silvio 2.0 vs Bacchetta Corsa

Bacchetta vs Vendetta I have a Vendetta. The group of guys I ride with all have Bacchettas. On average they are about 5 years younger than I am, I'm 62. On the flats they are quite fast (23-24mph) and I keep up just fine, but when we start to climb they don't even begin to stay with me...
